with underwriters actuaries and business heads across multiple regions with a culture of collaboration and participation across a range of high-profile projects The team seeks to make full use of available data sources to better manage reinsurance portfolios and enhance the reinsurance operations profitability The team conceptualizes designs and develops innovative management information for underwriters actuaries and senior management The teams other objectives include creating high-end analytical solutions and automating manual processes using the latest technologies DISCOVER your opportunityWhat will your essential responsibilities includexc2xb7 Create and run standard reports whilst looking to automate their generation and distribution xc2xb7 Create new innovative management information using Excel Qlik Sense and VBA xc2xb7 Review management information created by other people across the Reinsurance segment xc2xb7 Support product management within the reinsurance operations Work with people from across the reinsurance segment to determine how to best measure risk and profitability for various lines of business and how to construct and manage portfolios accordingly xc2xb7 Responsibility for checking that the reinsurance data is correct Setting up a process for regular data checks investigating any potential issues and taking any appropriate actions xc2xb7 Take ownership of mappings making sure any new mapping required is added in a timely manner xc2xb7 Understand explain data and assist the reinsurance community with any questions including how to access required data definitions and the source of data xc2xb7 To assist with complex data needs sourcing the appropriate data from multiple reinsurance systems xc2xb7 Test any new developments to the Reinsurance Analytics project before they are released xc2xb7 To be involved in deciding the direction of any specifying new development to the Reinsurance Analytics project xc2xb7 Provide training and support on the Reinsurance Analytics tools for a broad user base across multiple regions and functions including underwriting actuarial and senior management You will report to the Lead
