Govt Drish is an affordable digital test series platform for 1,670+ competitive exams in India, including UPSC, SSC, Banking, Railways, NEET, and GATE. We aim to make quality exam preparation accessible to millions of aspirants, especially in Tier-2, Tier-3 cities, and rural areas, by offering individual exam subscriptions at 49299, half the market price.
Role Description
Seed Investor / Strategic Partner
Responsibilities / Involvement:
- Provide seed funding to help scale Govt Drish's affordable test series platform.
- Act as a strategic advisor, offering guidance on growth, marketing, and expansion.
- Support network building, connecting Govt Drish with potential partners, influencers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor financial performance and KPIs to ensure effective use of funds and growth trajectory.
- Participate in key decision-making for scaling content, platform features, and user acquisition strategy.
Opportunity:
- Be part of a high-demand ed-tech platform targeting 1015 crore aspirants in India.
- Gain early-stage equity in a scalable, affordable exam-prep ecosystem.
- Contribute to bridging the education affordability gap across Tier-2/Tier-3 cities and rural areas.
Equity / Funding:
- Seed funding: 2 lakh (or as agreed)
- Proposed equity: 0.72% depending on investment size and valuation.
Qualifications
Investor / Strategic Partner
- Experience in early-stage investments or ed-tech/startup ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of digital education, online learning, and exam-prep markets.
- Proven track record in business growth, marketing strategy, or scaling digital platforms.
- Ability to provide strategic guidance and mentor founders.
- Strong network in ed-tech, investor circles, and influencer marketing.
- Comfortable reviewing financials, KPIs, and operational performance of a growing startup.
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Knowledge of financial analysis and portfolio management
- Proficiency in preparing financial reports
- Familiarity with market analysis and tracking economic trends
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Background in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
- Experience with financial modeling and Excel is a plus
