Job Description Job Information: Senior Legal Counsel Department: Risk Management SBU: Corporate Legal Experience: 10-12 Years (Corporate Legal Experience) Qualification: LLB (Tier I & II Law Schools Preferred) Role Description As a Senior Legal Counsel, the candidate will: - Provide legal advice and support for Large Corporates, Wholesale Banking, Structured Deals, Trade Finance, and Transaction Banking Products. - Develop and maintain standard legal templates and legal guidelines for various banking products. - Structure transactions and contracts while negotiating terms with third parties. - Conduct due diligence on deals and transactions, including property matters. - Manage litigation cases and draft legal documents like Complaints, Affidavits, and Replies. - Advise on corporate governance issues, regulatory compliance, and business structuring. - Collaborate with external legal counsels and regulatory bodies. - Analyze contractual risks and recommend risk mitigation strategies. - Stay updated on regulatory changes and advise on their impact on business operations.
