Job Description Industry: NBFC & FinTech Location: New Delhi Salary: 6 to 8 LPA Role Overview The Audit Executive Loan Against Property (LAP) will oversee audits across the LAP vertical to ensure process integrity, compliance, and risk control. The role focuses on documentation checks, property verification, and the overall authenticity of loan files. The candidate should have experience in the verification of properties, and a legal background is preferred to ensure thorough understanding of property laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities - Conduct property and collateral verification, ensuring valuation and ownership authenticity. - Audit borrower documentation, KYC, and loan agreements for completeness and accuracy. - Evaluate the overall credit soundness of each loan account by analysing borrower profile, repayment capacity, and property adequacy, ensuring alignment with internal credit and compliance standards. - Identify discrepancies, potential frauds, and highlight process gaps. - Prepare audit reports and coordinate with internal teams for timely resolution. Key Skills & Competencies - Strong understanding of Loan Against Property (LAP) processes. - Knowledge of NBFC & FinTech regulatory frameworks. - Analytical thinking, detail orientation, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and reporting ability. - Experience in property verification and understanding of legal aspects related to property and loan processes. - Legal background is preferred, with the ability to interpret property-related laws and regulations effectively. Qualifications & Experience - Education: Graduate / Postgraduate in any field. - Experience: 2 to 5 years in audit, credit, or compliance (preferably in LAP). - Experience in property verification is required. Technical Skills - Proficient in MS Excel and audit management systems - Familiar with FinTech or digital lending platforms
