About The Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an AWS Infrastructure Services Specialist. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure. Your primary focus will be ensuring the seamless functioning of data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that underpin our cloud services. Based in Mumbai, India, this position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a high-growth, fast-paced environment supporting AWSs expansive infrastructure portfolio in the Asia Pacific, Japan, and China regions.

The successful candidate will be part of the Strategic Portfolio Management team, tasked with mitigating financial and contractual risks associated with our expanding data center assets. You will collaborate closely with vendors, lessors, and internal teams to ensure contractual compliance, accurate payments, and operational excellence. This role requires a detail-oriented mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently amidst ambiguity and high demands.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in accounting, business, commerce, finance, real estate, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of demonstrated experience in commercial real estate, lease administration, or related areas within industrial, commercial, or data center environments.
- Proven experience managing large, global real estate portfolios and utilizing commercial real estate software platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work successfully across diverse organizations and cultures.
- Familiarity with financial standards such as GAAP and experience with platforms like Tango and Oracle is preferred.
- Ability to prioritize effectively, manage large volumes of work, and operate independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Responsibilities

- Review, audit, and process contractual payments in accordance with internal policies and contractual terms to ensure compliance by landlords and vendors.
- Maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring collaboration and effective communication across multiple teams.
- Oversee onboarding processes and track payment setups for new landlords and vendors.
- Interpret complex contractual language related to obligations, SLAs, rent, taxes, insurance, and maintenance clauses, ensuring clarity and compliance.
- Review contractual documentation, abstract critical information, and ensure accuracy in records and processes.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance payment workflows and operational efficiency.
- Monitor contractual adherence and escalate issues proactively to mitigate risks and ensure contractual obligations are met.
