Our Environment and Sustainability division is expanding, and we are looking for an experienced EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) Consultant to join our talented team in India. This is an exciting opportunity to work on international projects in collaboration with our Swedish colleagues, contributing to innovative and sustainable infrastructure and industrial solutions. About the Role- The position is based in India, but involves daily collaboration with Sweco teams in Sweden. You will play an important role in driving tasks and projects forward through proactive communication, high-quality analysis, and strong technical expertise. We are Hiring Experienced EIA Consultant | Team ESS, Sweco India Key Responsibilities & Requirements- Minimum 5 years of verified experience in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) within one or more of the following areas: - Industrial Corporations - Infrastructure (e.g., Roads, Railways, Waterways, Airports, Harbours) - Energy Sector (e.g., Environmental Permits for Power Lines) Technical Skills & Tools: - Good working knowledge of GIS, BIM, CAD, Python, and/or FME - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Education: Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Infrastructure, Energy and Environment, or related disciplines Location: Gurgaon Language & Communication: - Fluent in English (both written and spoken) - Curious about Swedish work culture and able to collaborate effectively across borders Preferred Experience: - Prior experience working on international or cross-country projects is advantageous Why Join Sweco At Sweco, you will be part of a diverse, innovative, and collaborative environment that values sustainability, professional growth, and teamwork.
