Job Description We are looking for a passionate and skilled Western Flute Teacher to join Gandharva School of Music, an international platform for online performing arts education. If you have strong expertise in Western classical flute techniques and a flair for teaching students globally, we invite you to become part of our esteemed faculty. Key Responsibilities - Conduct live 1:1 and group online flute lessons for students of various age groups and skill levels. - Develop structured lesson plans aligned with Gandharva’s curriculum and individual student progress. - Teach essential flute skills including breathing techniques, tone production, articulation, finger agility, scales, études, sight-reading, and repertoire. - Train students in music theory, rhythm accuracy, ear training, and performance techniques. - Prepare students for international graded music exams (ABRSM, Trinity, etc.), competitions, recitals, and ensemble performances. - Provide personalized feedback, inspire students, and guide them throughout their musical journey. - Maintain an engaging, interactive, and professional online learning environment. Eligibility Criteria - Minimum qualification: Diploma/Degree in Western Classical Music (Flute) or equivalent certification from a recognized institution. - Minimum 3 years of proven teaching experience in Western flute. - Strong command over Western music theory, classical repertoire, études, scales, sight-reading, and performance techniques. - Proficiency in English for conducting classes with students from diverse backgrounds. Technical Requirements - Stable high-speed internet for uninterrupted online sessions. - Laptop/desktop with a good quality microphone and webcam.
