Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with 2–3 years of professional experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in backend frameworks, databases, and cloud infrastructure, along with a passion for solving complex problems.

You will play a key role in:

- Developing and maintaining backend systems
- Ensuring performance, scalability, and security
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript
- Build secure and scalable APIs (RESTful; GraphQL knowledge is a plus)
- Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL for schema design, data modeling, optimization, and migrations
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS within Linux/Unix environments
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployments
- Collaborate with frontend developers (Next.js) and AI teams (Python-based solutions)
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability
- Follow security best practices to safeguard systems and data
- Contribute to agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 2–3 years of experience with Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript
- Proficiency with MongoDB and PostgreSQL (schema design, optimization)
- Strong knowledge of AWS and Linux/Unix environments
- Experience with authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth2, RBAC)
- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD tools
- Strong testing background (Jest, Mocha, Supertest)
- Knowledge of Python for backend scripting or AI/ML integrations (advantage)
- Exposure to frontend-backend integration with Next.js (plus)
