About Purplle Operations Purplle Operations is building a resilient omnichannel network designed to deliver beauty and personal care products with precision and speed With Fulfillment Centers FCs Distribution Centers DCs and Dark Stores strategically placed across India we focus on inventory accuracy loss prevention and operational excellence Our teams partner with logistics providers finance and technology to implement controls that minimize shrinkage maximize recovery and uphold the customer promise Leveraging data-driven insights we continuously improve processes to safeguard working capital and enhance efficiency Role Purpose As Inventory Manager - Loss Prevention Recovery you will be responsible for leading the reduction of inventory losses across Fulfillment Centers Distribution Centers and Dark Stores The role covers end-to-end loss prevention across all major process flows inbound putaway audits stock transfers and RTOs You will design and enforce controls lead audits resolve exceptions and drive loss recovery with 3PL partners ensuring that every node of Purplle s omnichannel network operates with high accuracy minimal shrinkage and maximum compliance Key Responsibilities Network-Wide Loss Prevention Leadership Drive structured initiatives to reduce inventory losses across FCs DCs and Dark Stores Identify node-level shrinkage hotspots deploy corrective actions and institutionalize best practices Partner with Operations Tech and Logistics to close systemic gaps across end-to-end supply chain flows Inventory Control Hygiene Enforce Inward accuracy SKU EAN batch lot MRP GST expiry quantity Implement gatekeeping and putaway checks ASN PO match packaging integrity FEFO adherence Lead cycle counts SBCs and detailed bin audits ensuring 99 5 accuracy and 95 adherence Resolve exceptions overage shortage damages near-expiry mis-bins with clear SOP-based flows Maintain master data hygiene MRP GST slabs shelf-life HSNs with escalation to Category Finance Stock Transfer Reconciliation Audit STOs and inter-node movements pick pack dispatch accuracy seal control custody chain Monitor IWT GON movements ensuring milestone scans and exception alerts for in-transit shipments Lead aging-in-transit reviews driving RCA and systemic fixes with Ops Tech and Logistics RTO Loss Recovery Manage RTO discrepancies damage missing vs packing evidence Prepare claim packs timestamps HHD WMS logs trimmed video clips images weight dimension proof Drive SLA adherence with 3PLs escalating chronic lanes pincodes and tracking recovery outcomes Analytics Governance Build dashboards shrinkage by node x category audit adherence claim funnel near-expiry risks Conduct RCA A3 5-Whys Pareto pilot process fixes and standardize via SOPs Collaborate with Product Tech to enhance WMS ERP workflows auto-triggers and access controls Success Reduction in network shrinkage GMV across FCs DCs and Dark Stores Cycle count accuracy and audit adherence rate Exception closure TAT overage shortage damage near-expiry of RTO Transit claims recovered and claim aging Near-expiry damage write-offs reduction STO reconciliation TAT and aging-in-transit reduction Master data correction TAT Qualifications Must-Have 2-3 years in e-commerce omnichannel warehousing ICQA or inventory control Strong analytical ability Excel pivot lookup Power Query SQL preferred BI tools Metabase Power BI Tableau Hands-on experience with WMS ERP processes GRN putaway cycle count STO RTO quarantine Proven track record in audit design execution floor operations and discrepancy resolution Exposure to vendor 3PL claim management with evidence-based closure Strong problem-solving and SOP-writing skills Good-to-Have Familiarity with RTO dispute workflows video scan evidence Lean Six Sigma GB BB ISO 5S compliance knowledge Exposure to SAP MIRO EasyEcom or similar systems Ways of Working 70 analytics governance 30 floor audits and cross-node visits Works closely with FC DC Store Ops Logistics Finance Category and Tech Product teams Upholds maker-checker principles access controls and segregation of duties What We Offer Competitive compensation with performance-linked incentives Exposure to network-scale problem-solving in a fast-growing e-commerce environment Cross-functional growth opportunities across Supply Chain Ops Excellence and Tech
