We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Legal Clerk with 2-3 years of experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will support our attorneys in various legal tasks, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and compliant with legal standards. This role requires a strong understanding of legal terminology, excellent research skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Assist lawyers in preparing legal documents and briefs.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law and statutes.
- Maintain and organize case files and legal documentation.
- Assist in the preparation for court appearances and trials.
- Draft correspondence and communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel.
- File documents with the court and ensure compliance with filing deadlines.
- Manage schedules and appointments for legal proceedings.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
- 2-3 years of experience as a legal clerk or in a similar role within a law firm or legal department.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and databases (e.g., Manupatra, SCC Online).
- Familiarity with court procedures and legal terminology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Ability to draft legal documents and correspondence accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal management software.
