About the Role Grade Level for internal use 10S P Private Markets - iLevel Product DevelopmentThe Role You will work as a backend developer as part of a team delivering functionality for our Private Market clients Our market-leading software-as-a-service AWS-hosted application enables our customers to analyse their investments You will combine your passion for technology with your client focus to build high-quality and complex software solutions The Team You will be working in a Private Markets development team currently operating out of India the UK and the USA The team is part of the larger Private Capital technology team All team members share a passion for technology and solving complex technical problems with a focus on quality and solving our customers problems The Impact Improving for all net C back-end system design and implementation Produce high-quality maintainable tested code that solves business and operational requirements Demonstrate your passion for good software engineering practices and architecture and share that knowledge with the team Mentor and upskill junior back-end developers on the team through pair programming and code reviews Participate in scrum ceremonies contributing to estimation and retrospectives to improve how the team works Provide ongoing operational support to the systems the team builds and provide input on how to improve how we run and operate our systems What We re Looking For Experience in working in high-performing software development teams Strong understanding and experience building applications in C using NET 6 or 8 Understanding of REST API-based services both the development and testing Understanding of service-based and serverless architectures and the challenges they can present Good understanding of containerized applications with Docker and cloud technology preferably AWS including serverless services of AWS Strong understanding of quality and testing automation Good communicator both spoken and
