Job Details - Job Title: Investment Associate - Location: Mumbai - Experience: Upto 4 years - Type: Full-time - Reporting To: Chief Investment Officer - Education (one or more is a must): CA / CFA (level III cleared) / MBA (Finance) / Masters in Finance Key Responsibilities - Conduct detailed fundamental research on companies across sectors (both listed and private) - Conduct deep dives into industries and markets to identify emerging trends and opportunities - Assess competitive positioning, build investment thesis, identify key drivers of value, key risks, and business model sustainability - Analyze company financials and key metrics to support investment recommendations - Build and maintain detailed financial models for target and portfolio companies - Perform valuation using DCF, relative valuation, and other relevant methodologies - Prepare high-quality investment memos and presentations (Word & PowerPoint) for the Investment Committee - Summarize complex data and research into clear, concise, and actionable insights - Monitor portfolio companies and sectoral developments Candidate profile - Upto 4 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment banking, or corporate finance - Proven experience in building financial models independently (case study may be part of the selection process) - Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting, valuation, and corporate finance principles - Excellent command over MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (advanced Excel skills preferred) - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious - Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a lean team - Passion for investing and long-term wealth creation What We Offer - Opportunity to work closely with a senior investment team in a meritocratic and intellectually stimulating environment - Exposure to both public and private markets across sectors and business models - A long-term learning curve and the ability to participate in high-impact investment decisions To Apply - If interested, please send your resume and a short cover note with the subject line: "Application for Investment Associate" at thrive@p4capital.in - Please mention your current and expected compensation (fixed and variable) in your cover note.
