At Kuehne+Nagel, our contribution counts in more ways than we imagine. You will be part of our Air Logistics Team to add your expertise + skills to the delivery of Customer +Product Excellence. Your primary objective is to drive + grow the perishables product by developing a strategy to gain + retaincustomers. How you create impact You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on thefollowing key objectives. - To ensure your local product strategy aligns with the regional strategy while fitting the local market. - To build a local operational structure dedicated to the perishable product within the customer + operationalcare locations (CCL + OCC) that creates + maintains perishable expertise, aiming for zero operational failuresfor temperature sensitive cargo. - To ensure profitability across the profit + loss statement (P+L), proactively following up on discrepancies. - To manage local carrier relationships ensuring access to appropriate escalation channels. - To take the lead in local perishable pricing in coordination with the regional team. - To identify gaps in perishable knowledge through the local market + pro-actively support improvement viatrainings, marketing campaigns + general presentations. What we would like you to bring - Minimum of 8-9 years of experience in supply chain management, with a strong focus on perishable logistics. - Proven experience in managing client relationships, particularly within the perishable goods sector. - Strong team management and leadership skills. - Multilingual, with fluency in at least one South Indian language (e.g., Tamil) preferred. - Sound knowledge of perishable products, handling requirements, and related logistics best practices. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
