JOB DESCRIPTION:

Manitou Equipment India in Greater Noida, UP, India will have an opening for

(Position Name – Asst / Dy. Manager Supplier Development Engineering). The prime responsibility of this

position is:

Specific responsibilities:

Supplier Audits: Conduct comprehensive on-site audits to assess supplier processes, quality management

systems, and manufacturing capabilities.

New Part Development: Feasibility, Technical evaluation during NPD, development of parts as per program

timeline including tooling, process, facility. APQP and PPAP of the new parts and handover to cross functional

teams for regular production.

Supplier Performance Management: Monitor and analyze supplier performance metrics, including quality

and delivery. Develop and implement action plans to address underperforming suppliers.

Supplier Development and Improvement: Evaluate suppliers based on Q&D. Identify suppliers for

improvement, make a time bound plan for overall supplier improvement for its processes, systems, facility, to

deliver defect free parts from suppliers . Work closely with suppliers to improve their processes, quality, and

efficiency. Provide technical guidance and support to help them meet our stringent requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including Engineering, Quality, Purchasing,

and Manufacturing, to ensure alignment on supplier requirements and development initiatives.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks by developing robust contingency plans.

Commodity Management: Manage a diverse portfolio of part commodities, including but not limited to

Fabrication,electronics, plastics, castings, machining, etc…

Educational Qualification: Btech, B.E

Years of Experience:

● 7 + Years of Experience for B.tech, BE

Technical skills: Interpret engg drg and GD&T , Process knowledge for manufacturing process of Fabrication

parts, plastics, hydraulics, rubber, Various assy, Proprietary items. Knowledge of supplier base to identify

new suppliers
