The HV Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing and optimizing high-voltage systems, troubleshooting technical issues, administering system integrations, and providing technical support to ensure seamless operations. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and safety features for Vitruv Motors innovative EV light truck. Key Responsibilities - Lead design & development of Electric Powertrain (HV) components such as Traction Batteries, Motors, contactors, relays, junction boxes, and HV harnesses - Define HV architecture and interface requirements between powertrain, BMS, thermal systems, and vehicle control units - HV Systems Integration at System & Vehicle Level - Prepare system-level DFMEA, DVP&R and validation test plans for HV components, execute DVP and homologation compliance tests - Perform fault diagnostics, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis - Ensure Compliance with applicable Standards & Regulations - Software calibration and control strategy validation for HV system operation - Working experience of functional safety regulation - Hands on experience on Hybrid/Electric Powertrain Control Design, development, verification and validation. - Coordination with other departments/ suppliers & related agencies for design and development Activities & and performance evaluation Other Qualifications: - Proven experience of Battery & Motor Design with ISO 26262 Functional Safety (ASIL C/D systems) - Good understanding of vehicle communication networks and diagnostic standards (UDS, ISO 14229) - Lead design & development activity with minimal supervision - Excellent analytical, communication, and system-thinking skills - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills This is a great opportunity to be part of the core team to build a winning proposition in India's nascent EV space.
