Job Summary The Store In-Charge is responsible for managing the overall operations of the store warehouse ensuring efficient handling of raw materials packing materials and consumables This role involves inventory management stock control material issuance and coordination with procurement and production teams to maintain smooth operations Key Responsibilities 1 Store Establishment System Setup Design and implement the physical layout of the store for optimal space utilization and material flow Establish and document all store procedures receiving issuing inventory counting etc Set up the inventory management system manual or software-based with proper coding and categorization for all items Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of all inventory 2 Inventory Management Receive all incoming materials raw materials packaging spares and verify against purchase orders for quantity and quality Inspect materials for damage and ensure compliance with specifications coordinate with Quality Control Issue materials to production and other departments against authorized requisitions Maintain accurate and real-time records of all inventory transactions Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventory audits Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage deterioration and theft 3 Planning Control Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and consumables to prevent stock-outs that could halt production Identify slow-moving obsolete and non-moving inventory and report to management Assist the purchase department by providing data for re-ordering and identifying critical spares Implement a First-In-First-Out FIFO system to manage material shelf life 4 Documentation Reporting Maintain all necessary documentation including Goods Receipt Notes GRN Material Issue Vouchers and stock registers Prepare and submit daily weekly and monthly inventory reports stock status consumption variances Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date for audit purposes 5 Safety Compliance Enforce strict safety protocols within the store area Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations Manage the storage of hazardous materials e g chemicals for cleaning drawing in accordance with safety data sheets SDS 6 Team Management as the company grows Supervise and guide store helpers or assistants Train new team members on established store procedures Qualifications and Experience Education Any Graduate Logistics Business Administration or a related field A diploma in store materials management is also acceptable Experience 5-10 years of experience in a store incharge or similar inventory management role preferably in a manufacturing environment cable wire metal or related industries is a significant advantage Experience in a start-up or new facility setup is highly desirable Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Health insurance Life insurance Provident Fund Ability to commute relocate Anand Gujarat Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Preferred Application Question s How Many years of experience do you have in Store operations Work Location In person
