Job Description

We are hiring for a global technology company, market leader in providing innovative digital solutions.

As a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be a key player in ensuring the quality of our major product releases. You will lead SQA efforts, design and execute comprehensive test strategies, leverage the latest Microsoft technologies for automation, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams. This role demands a strong commitment to quality, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties:

- Lead SQA efforts for major products and releases, taking ownership of the entire QA lifecycle.
- Develop detailed test schedules, test plans, test cases, and consolidate and report test results, providing clear visibility into quality metrics.
- Design and maintain robust test automation frameworks using the latest Microsoft technologies for both new and existing products.
- Set up and manage test environments optimized for automation activities.
- Track test coverage and key quality metrics, ensuring comprehensive testing.
- Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, ensuring repeatability and efficiency.
- Act as a technology champion and mentor, sharing your expertise and promoting the effective use of new technologies for automation.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather and understand business requirements, ensuring alignment with testing efforts.
- Maintain a strong commitment to on-time, high-quality delivery of all projects and deliverables.
- Proactively escalate issues that negatively impact project timelines or quality.

Qualifications:

- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience as an SQA Test Engineer on software development projects.
- 4+ years of programming experience with C/C++/C# or Java.
- Proven test automation experience with GUI (HTTP/XML, Java, web services) and non-GUI applications (API, databases).
- Experience with RDBMS and SQL, SQL Server preferred.
- 3+ years of test automation experience using at least one commercial or open-source test tool (Selenium/Playwright, Ready API preferred).
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Git, Azure DevOps (AZDO), Jira, and Confluence.
- Experience working with distributed teams is a plus.
- Experience with iterative development and Agile methodologies.
