Job Title Chef de Partie - South Indian Cuisine Location Baywatch Resort Sernabatim South Goa Job Type Full-time Reports To Head Chef Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie CDP specializing in South Indian cuisine to join our kitchen team You will be responsible for preparing authentic and high-quality South Indian dishes while ensuring smooth kitchen operations in your section The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of traditional and modern South Indian cooking techniques Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes such as dosa idli vada sambar rasam and regional specialties from Kerala Tamil Nadu Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh Supervise and manage the assigned section of the kitchen Ensure food preparation and presentation meet quality standards and customer expectations Maintain proper stock levels manage ingredient requisition and minimize wastage Follow hygiene sanitation and food safety guidelines as per HACCP standards Train and guide junior kitchen staff working in the South Indian section Monitor cooking procedures portion control and kitchen cleanliness Collaborate with other chefs for menu planning innovation and food festivals or special events Qualifications and Skills Proven experience as a CDP or senior commis chef specializing in South Indian cuisine Culinary diploma or professional chef training preferred In-depth knowledge of spices ingredients and traditional cooking methods used in South Indian food Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Strong leadership and communication skills Attention to detail and commitment to consistency Working Conditions Long hours including weekends and holidays depending on business needs Standing for extended periods and working in a hot kitchen environment Job Type Full-time Pay 30 000 00 - 35 000 00 per month Benefits Paid time off Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Evening shift Morning shift Night shift Rotational shift Work Location In person
