Manual QA Engineer

About the Role We’re looking for a Mid–Senior Manual QA Engineer who can own the quality of features end-to-end, perform deep functional testing, create test plans, and ensure smooth product releases. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and design teams to ensure we ship stable, polished, user-friendly products. Automation QA knowledge is a bonus but not mandatory. Key Responsibilities - Create, update, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios. - Perform detailed functional, regression, integration, and usability testing. - Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira/Linear. - Work closely with developers to reproduce bugs, verify fixes, and improve quality. - Validate API responses using tools like Postman/Insomnia. - Participate in requirement reviews and contribute to test strategy. - Ensure release readiness through smoke and sanity testing. - Collaborate actively with Engineering & Product teams for clear communication. Required Experience 2–3 years of professional experience in manual QA. Technical Skills - Strong experience writing test cases, test plans, and bug reports. - Hands-on with functional, regression, and integration testing. - Experience using Jira/ClickUp/Linear for defect management. - Familiarity with Postman, API testing, and JSON response validation. - Understanding of QA best practices, SDLC, and STLC. - Ability to test across web, mobile responsive, and cross-browser scenarios. - Bonus: Exposure to automation tools (Playwright/Selenium/Cypress/Jest). Soft Skills - Strong English communication — written & verbal. - High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset. - Ability to work independently and in collaboration with dev teams. - Clear, concise bug reporting and reproduction steps.
