Nikes Distribution and Outbound Transportation Engineering team builds world class Warehouse management system and transpiration solution for our Global Supply Chain Organization team powers one of the worlds most sophisticated and dynamic value chains. At the India Technology Center, we are building a world-class product and engineering capability to accelerate Nikes digital transformation and deliver innovation at scale.

What You Will Work On

Join Nikes Global Supply Chain Technology Organization as the Director of Distribution & Outbound Transportation Engineering. In this pivotal role, youll lead the engineering vision and roadmap for Nikes global Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), including Manhattan Active WM and custom services. Youll shape the future of Nikes distribution and transportation platforms, driving innovation, scalability, and resilience across our global supply chain.

- Lead a multi-squad engineering team to deliver world-class supply chain solutions
- Define and execute the technology strategy for global inventory platforms, KPIs, and fitness functions
- Partner with product and business leaders to elevate Nikes consumer fulfillment experience
- Champion cloud-native, decoupled, and edge-facing services with a focus on scalability and flexibility
- Drive flawless executionon time and under budgetusing data-driven iteration and agile methodologies
- Build and nurture high-performing, diverse engineering teams through servant leadership
- Represent Nikes technology vision across internal and external forums

Who We Are Looking For

Qualifications, Business and Team Leadership

- Bachelors or Masters degree in engineering.
- 15+ years leading diverse engineering teams, including multiple managers and squads.
- 8-10+ years of being a practitioner/ hands-on software engineering experience.
- And 4-5 years in management role planning, building, maintaining and managing technology, leading teams.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment with competing priorities
- Commitment to building strong, diverse global tech talent
- Collaborate effectively with culturally diverse and multiple stakeholder groups to define, align, communicate and deliver on commitments that drive value for the business, and celebrate cross functional wins and teams

Technical And Working Knowledge And Skills

- Deep expertise in global WMS platforms (preferably Manhattan Active WM or WMoS)
- Experience with TMS (preferably Blue Yonder) preferred
- Proven success delivering cloud-native microservices and edge-facing applications
- Strong background in Agile, DevOps (CI/CD), and distributed/cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with Java, Node.js, or Scala; RESTful services; NoSQL (Cassandra, DynamoDB, MongoDB); and RDBMS (MySQL, Oracle)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk, SignalFx, and New Relic
- Demonstrated ability to launch new microservices and manage legacy systems
- Proven experience building AI/ML-driven supply chain solutions
