Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Back End Developer to join our dynamic team at Nexus Jobs. This position is based in our headquarters in Jaipur and is ideal for candidates with 1 to 3 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will excel in developing robust back-end components and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. Our Back End Developer will work closely with our front-end developers to integrate various components into a seamless application.

Qualifications and Skills

- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++, with a good understanding of backend stack fundamentals.
- Basic to advanced experience in database management principles, and familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases for data querying and management.
- Experience in developing and integrating RESTful services ensuring smooth communication between client-side requests and server-side processing.
- Good understanding of web servers like Apache and Nginx, focusing on enhancing the performance and security of server-side applications.
- Proficient usage of version control systems such as Git to ensure code consistency and collaboration among developers.
- Comprehension of security principles as they apply to server-side applications, ensuring data integrity and accessibility only to authorized users.
- Familiarity with API development helps in connecting different microservices with other applications effectively.
- Experience in microservices architecture to develop scalable and modular applications that simplify complex software systems.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Develop and document robust and scalable back-end solutions to optimize server-side processes.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
- Participate in the entire development lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging to deliver high-quality software products.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability to ensure seamless performance for end-users.
- Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard information against unauthorized access or breaches.
- Manage and maintain databases ensuring their performance, security, and availability for ongoing operations.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them to activities where applicable to improve efficiency and performance.
- Work alongside project managers and other team members to ensure the successful deployment of projects on time and within budget.
