Looking for Mechanical Engineer with minimum 1 year experience in filed of pipes, fittings, flanges, valves and who has performed Material Inspection and managed Quality control documents.The candidate should have knowledge of Piping specification such as ASTM, ASME, API.Ability to carry out dimension inspection of pipes, fittings, flanges, valves as per technical specification.Should be able to check the Material test certificate as per standard and creating inspection documentsCo-ordinating with External Third Party Inspection agency and lab for inspection and testing as per order requirements.Studying Client's technical specification and identifying its application on product.Maintaining quality control records.ASNT Level 2 Certified person preferred.Required Skills and Competencies1. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of piping design, fabrication, and erection processes. Understanding of ASME, API, ASTM, ANSI, and ISO standards related to piping QA/QC. Proficiency in reading P&IDs, isometric drawings, GADs, and material specifications. Familiarity with NDT techniques, welding processes, and quality assurance tools. 2. Quality & Inspection Skills Ability to prepare ITPs, Quality Control Plans, and method statements. Experience in hydrostatic and pneumatic testing of piping systems. Knowledge of welding qualifications, welder approvals, and WPS/PQR documentation. 3. Software & Tools Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA/QC documentation software. Exposure to ERP systems or construction management tools is an added advantage. 4. Personal Competencies Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
