Company Description Join Syngenta Group a leader in agricultural innovation where technology meets purpose As digital pioneers in AgTech we re integrating AI across our value chain from smart breeding to precision agriculture Our global team of 56 000 professionals is transforming sustainable farming worldwide At Syngenta IT Digital your expertise will directly impact food security and shape the future of agriculture through cutting-edge technology Architect and develop scalable microservices for the MLOps platform using Python and FastAPI Build event-driven systems with Apache Kafka and AWS SQS to support ML workflows Design and optimize ML model serving pipelines for production environments Deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS to ensure scalability and performance of the MLOps platform Mentor junior engineers and champion code quality testing and CI CD practices Collaborate with data scientists to streamline and enhance model deployment workflows Lead technical strategy and architecture decisions for the MLOps platform Qualifications Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent experience 6 years of software development experience with strong proficiency in Python Expertise in o Python frameworks FastAPI Django or Flask o AWS services ECS Lambda S3 DynamoDB SQS o Apache Kafka and message queuing systems o ML model serving and deployment pipelines o RESTful APIs microservices and container technologies Docker Kubernetes Strong experience with CI CD pipelines and DevOps practices Exceptional problem-solving system design and communication skills Preferred o Experience with ML model optimization and real-time prediction systems o Familiarity with AgTech or similar domains o Proficiency in infrastructure as code Terraform CloudFormation Preferred Skills and Focus Areas ML Operations Building and leading MLOps platforms including model serving pipelines versioning A B testing and performance monitoring Message Queuing Apache Kafka for high-throughput streaming and AWS SQS for cloud-native queuing Cloud Architecture Designing distributed systems scalable microservices and event- driven architectures for MLOps Familiarity with real-time prediction systems and infrastructure as code Terraform CloudFormation Knowledge of AgTech or related industries Additional Information Note Syngenta is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in recruitment hiring training promotion or any other employment practices for reasons of race color religion gender national origin age sexual orientation gender identity marital or veteran status disability or any other legally protected status Website address - LI page
