Automobile Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking multiple Automobile Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to join our team across Thane and Navi Mumbai. In this field-based role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough pre-delivery inspections of new / pre-owned cars at dealer showrooms / or seller premises on behalf of customers who are purchasing vehicles. Your meticulous attention to detail and technical expertise will contribute to delivering exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction Responsibilities: - Conduct pre-delivery inspections of newly purchased / preowned cars at dealer showrooms / seller premises, ensuring they meet the company's and the automotive industry's quality and safety standards. - Perform comprehensive checks on various vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical components, and more as per defined systems and processes. - Identify and document any defects, damages, or discrepancies in the vehicles, providing accurate and detailed reports for further action in line with company processes and SOPs - Collaborate with dealership staff to address and resolve any issues found during inspections, maintaining effective communication throughout the process. - Ensure that all inspections are completed within the designated timeframe and in adherence to company guidelines. - Maintain accurate records of inspection findings, reports, and relevant documentation. - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, explaining inspection results, and offering technical advice as needed. - Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, industry trends, and inspection protocols to continuously enhance your technical knowledge and skills. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree (B.E. / BTech / or equivalent 4-year course) in Automobile Engineering is a must. Other relevant certifications or additional training are a plus. - 1-3 years of experience in vehicle inspections or similar field - In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, components, and technologies. - Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy. - Ability to work independently and efficiently in a field-based setting, managing multiple inspections per day. - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with dealership staff and customers. - Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. - Physical fitness to perform inspections that may involve bending, lifting, and working in various weather conditions. - Proficiency in using digital devices and software for reporting and documentation purposes.
