About The Team

The Voltage Reference and Supervisors team in the TI-Analog Power Products vertical is engaged in development of cutting age products in the domain of voltage references and supervisor ICs. The products developed by the team are used in wide variety of end-equipments ranging from test and measurement bench equipments like DMMs, DAQ systems, channel cards in ATE, to solar inverters and automotive subsystems for ICE/HEV/EV vehicles. The product mix ranges from highest precision products (ppm grade accuracy) to highest voltage (1000+) semiconductor products.

The team in Bangalore, owns all major functions in product development design, layout, validation, test and program management, giving team members a very unique and overall exposure to product development.

Job Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for owning and driving silicon validation for assigned project(s).

Work will involve,

- Engage with systems engineer to understand the overall product functionality, customer use cases and key care bouts.
- Engage with design team to understand the device construction as well as participate in discussions for design for test.
- Build a validation plan to cover topics like coverage of specs, break-the-part tests, required characterization reports, required hardware, instrumentation and software automation.
- Develop any required PCB or other hardware and software automation suites prior to silicon arrival.

Perform relevant test and publish reports in timely manner. On anomalous behavior observed, perform debug through design of experiments to narrow down the source of the error including but not limited to error in stimulus, error in hardware, isolating probable on device circuit blocks etc. responsible for the behavior.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum requirements:

- Minimum education (ie bachelor&aposs degree in electrical engineering)
- 3 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills:

- Good understanding of semiconductor device fundamentals
- Good analog, power and mixed signal circuit fundamentals
- Good knowledge on test and measurement equipments and associated instrumentation
- Good knowledge of software tools like LabView, TestStand, Python scripting, Spotfire etc.
- Hands-on experience in designing PCBs
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good team player, ability to work with systems, design, test and applications engineering.
- Ability to independently carry on device debug by application of basic electrical engineering skills.
