Shall play the role of Technical Expert for Energy Sector in Project Monitoring Team providing expert advice on technical matters pertaining to projects in Solar Wind Thermal Transmission Energy Storage and Electric Vehicles sector Key deliverable is to support Project Finance bankers in thorough technical evaluation of project implementation plan and cover various aspects as detailed below Review of time and cost estimates including detailed review of BoQ and advice about their reasonableness Suitability of Resource Deployment Plan for project implementation Evaluate the quality of EYA WRA prepared for yield assessment and advice about the accuracy of the same Evaluate the suitability of Solar Modules including BOM warranties certifications etc proposed to be installed and advice if they are likely to perform well for period of 25 years Assessment of the transmission infrastructure whether renewable project is likely to get high grid availability for power evacuation Suitability of WTG being installed for wind projects and the O M arrangement Review of project design including structures foundations and balance of plant For Transmission Projects Evaluation of cost and time estimates including BoQ level analysis assessment of RoW and land acquisition complexities resource mobilization plan Evaluate the execution capabilities of the EPC contractor responsible for implementing the project Review of project documents and ascertaining compliance of contract conditions Review of engineering design land acquisition and RoW Conducting site visit review of project progress and coordination with Lenders Engineer and Contractor Ensuring close tracking of project progress and pick up early signs of any time overrun and or cost overrun and take suitable remedial actions Preparation of detailed Project Due Diligence and or Project Progress Reports Extensive data collection about technical engineering aspects considered critical by the Bank and analysis of the same Desired Skillsets Experience and Qualities Experience of 10 - 15 years in Power Renewable Energy and Transmission sector with prominent Developer EPC Contractor Engineering Consultant Good understanding on all technical aspects of energy sector Yield Assessment Design Solar Module and WTG Procurement Quality Control Project Planning Execution RoW Land Acquisition Costing Hardworking and detailed oriented Energetic proactive and flexible Good communication skills written and oral Interested in building long term career with Bank FI B Tech BE in Electrical Mechanical from reputed institute MBA would be a plus
