Job Description About the job We're building an EOS platform - Need a backend engineer who can architect systems that scale and APIs that don't break. This isn't maintenance work. You'll build from scratch. Key responsibilities Design database architecture for thousands of engineer profiles with complex search/filtering Build robust REST APIs for candidate-project matching system Optimise queries and implement caching strategies for real-time performance Handle authentication, authorisation, and payment integrations Own the backend infrastructure and deployment pipeline What we're looking for 2-3 years building scalable backends Strong in Node.js/Express + Python (Django/FastAPI) PostgreSQL mastery (complex queries, indexing, optimisation) Experience with Redis, AWS/Cloud, Docker System design thinking - you consider trade-offs, not just features Clean code advocate with testing mindset Nice to have - Built marketplace or two-sided platforms before - Experience with Elasticsearch or similar search engines - GraphQL knowledge - CI/CD pipeline setup experience - Open source contributions Why join us Ground floor opportunity - shape technical decisions from day one Solve real scale problems, not just CRUD operations Modern stack, no legacy nightmares Work directly with founders Onsite in Indore - collaborative environment
