Overview of Role You will be highly proficient in building modern, interactive, and high-performance interfaces using React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript. This includes full ownership of the client-side code, ensuring responsiveness and quality with HTML5 and CSS3. A secondary, but necessary, function involves maintaining and eventually modernizing user-facing components built withlegacy technologies like JSP and Struts. Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain high-quality user interfaces using React.js, TypeScript, - JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3, focusing on performance and user experience. - Implement robust and scalable back-end services using Java, Spring Boot, and - JPA/Hibernate, defining clear RESTful APIs for client consumption. - Implement secure system integrations by enforcing authentication and authorization - (JWT, OAuth2), applying API security best practices, and managing asynchronous communication via RabbitMQ or Kafka. - Design database schemas and write optimized SQL queries for relational databases - (Oracle, MySQL), managing the data layer via JPA/Hibernate. - Utilize Git for version control and actively contribute to the CI/CD and DevOps pipelines by leveraging Docker for containerization and deployment automation. - Use logging and monitoring tools to troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring application reliability. - Support and refactor existing legacy components(JSP and Struts) while proactively planning and executing strategies for their full modernization into the Microservices Architecture. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in front end technology- React.js - Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. - Experience with JSP and Struts. - Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL). - Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker). - Understanding of DevOps pipelines . - Experience with Microservices Architecture. - Understanding and experience of authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth2). - Exposure to message queues ( RabbitMQ is preferred but Kafka acceptable). - Familiarity with API security best practices. - Experience with logging, monitoring, and production support. - Experience with agile development practices. 66degrees is an Equal Opportunity employer.
