Bar Manager – The Cape Goa Iconic Resort & Restaurant | Cabo de Rama, South Goa The Cape Goa, a renowned resort and restaurant perched on the cliffs of Cabo de Rama, is looking for an experienced and motivated Bar Manager to take charge of our busy bar operations. We have a talented team of head bartenders in place — now we’re seeking a professional leader to oversee, organise, and elevate the entire bar experience. Key Responsibilities - Leadership & Supervision: - Lead, schedule, and support the bar team, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations. - Guest Experience: - Maintain a welcoming, high-energy bar environment, ensuring guests receive exceptional service, consistency, and hospitality. - Menu Development & Quality Control: - Work closely with management to update and refine the drinks menu, ensuring creativity, balance, and presentation meet The Cape Goa’s standards. - Inventory & Cost Control: - Oversee ordering, stock management, and bar costings to ensure profitability and minimal wastage. - Training & Team Development: - Mentor and train bartenders in product knowledge, service standards, and responsible alcohol service. - Coordination: - Liaise with the kitchen and FOH teams for seamless bar–floor service flow, especially during peak hours and events. Qualifications - Proven experience as a Bar Manager or Senior Head Bartender in a busy, high-quality restaurant or resort. - Strong leadership and organisational skills. - In-depth knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and bar operations. - Confident communicator and calm under pressure. - Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and events.
