Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Java / Fullstack Developer who can also act as a Solution Architect and Database Architect for enterprise-level applications. This role is perfect for someone who can balance hands-on coding with strategic architecture design, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing systems.

You will lead technical discussions, mentor teams, and design both application and data architecture, while also actively contributing to development and optimization efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

- Design and architect enterprise-grade Java-based applications.
- Define system architecture, microservices patterns, and integration frameworks.
- Evaluate technologies, tools, and best practices to ensure scalability and security.
- Lead design reviews and technical discussions with stakeholders.

Java / Fullstack Development

- Develop, review, and optimize Java (Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices) code.
- Establish coding standards and enforce best practices.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and production issues.
- Work with front-end frameworks such as ReactJS/AngularJS.

Database Architecture & Optimization

- Design and implement scalable, normalized relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
- Architect data models, indexing strategies, and migration plans.
- Optimize SQL queries for performance and reliability.
- Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance.

Collaboration & Delivery

- Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance across the SDLC.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders in Agile environments.
- Provide accurate technical estimations and participate in sprint planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 812 years of software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java (8/11/17+), Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs.
- Proven experience designing distributed systems and service-oriented architectures.
- Frontend proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript with good exposure to ReactJS / AngularJS.
- Strong RDBMS design expertise with query optimization skills.
- Hands-on experience with API design, messaging queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills.

- Backend: Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA
- Architecture: Microservices, API Gateway, Service Discovery
- Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions
- Cloud & Containers: Docker, Kubernetes
- Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana
- Others: Git, Swagger, Postman

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices (Terraform, Ansible).
- JVM performance tuning experience.
