About Position: We are looking for Strong Data engineers to join the Data Integration team and become part of our successful group - Role: Data Engineer - Location: All Persistent Locations - Experience: 5+ Years - Job Type: Full Time Employment What You'll Do: - Design, code, test, deploy, maintain, monitor and execute production ETL processes - Investigate production ETL issues / problems - Map database sources to specified data formats - Verify and validate ETL deliverables incoming/outgoing - Provide direction and mentorship to junior colleagues on topics related to Datamart design and ETL deliverables - Lead troubleshooting episodes and communicate solutions/resolutions to the team - Translate concepts to requirements, then design, and develop into an automated production process - Act as a subject matter expert for other team members on assigned processes - Complete projects and development activities timely and accurately while following the - System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Suggest changes and enhancements for processes. - Document hours of development activities by following SDLC and IS Change Management - Keep skills up to date through ongoing self-directed training Expertise You'll Bring: - Proficient with SQL, MS Visual Studio, SSIS, T-SQL, MS SQL Server tools. - Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science - 5 years of related work experience. - 3 or more years’ experience in Data Warehouse development - 3 or more years’ experience in MSSQL T-SQL/SSIS development - Strong knowledge of T-SQL performance tuning - Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing Star/Snowflake schemas - Data Warehouse – (ETL) Extract, Transform, and Load knowledge Benefits: - Competitive salary and benefits package - Culture focused on talent development with quarterly growth opportunities and company-sponsored higher education and certifications - Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies - Employee engagement initiatives such as project parties, flexible work hours, and Long Service awards - Annual health check-ups - Insurance coverage: group term life, personal accident, and Mediclaim hospitalization for self, spouse, two children, and parents Values-Driven, People-Centric & Inclusive Work Environment: Persistent Ltd. is dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
