OIC Developer

Job Description The Oracle Integration Cloud Developer role involves designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to connect Oracle applications, third-party applications, and on-premises systems. The ideal candidate must have a sold understanding of the OIC platform architecture and components and is extremely well versed in designing and developing custom business logic for integration flows, as well as creating APIs and adapters. Must have extensive experience leveraging pre-built OIC connectors as well as creating custom connectors and have high proficiency with data mapping and transformation tools like XSLT, and JSON and can easily handle data in different formats (XML, JSON, and CSV). This team member must be a strong communicator who can understand business requirements and be part of a bigger team by delivering meaningful data via Oracle Integration Cloud. Responsibilities: Design and develop custom business logic for integration flows (orchestrations). Create APIs, adapters, and connectors to connect systems. Leverage pre-built OIC connectors (ex: Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle HCM Cloud, Salesforce, etc.). Develop custom connectors for specialized needs. Configure inbound/outbound connections (ex: SOAP, REST, SFTP, file-based integration, etc.). Map data between source and target systems. Design error-handling to handle data integration issues (ex: missing data, connectivity problems, or invalid formats). Troubleshoot and resolve integration errors. Unit test integration flows to ensure proper functionality. Support Admin with promoting integration solutions across all environments (dev, test, prod). Document integration flows, customizations, and special logic. Prioritize workload based on business requirement and impact, as well as communicate status to internal and external stakeholders. Work with Functional resources, participate in team/user discussion meetings to develop plans and resolutions. Create productive relationships by working closely with stakeholders, technical staff, liaise with vendors, colleagues, and contacts from other teams to ensure timely and efficient end-to-end solutions. Qualifications: 4+ years of Oracle Integration Cloud experience 4+ years of experience with OICs prebuilt adapters to enable connectivity with Oracle and non-Oracle systems 4+ years building integration flows and patterns using OIC 4+ years of designing and developing REST and SOAP APIs within OIC integrations Strong understanding of OIC platform architecture and components High proficiency in OICs data mapping and transformation tools, including XSLT and JSON Expertise in handling data in different data formats (XML, JSON, and CSV) Possess applicable certifications. B.S Computer Science or equivalent. Mandatory Analytical Skills: Proven ability to multi-task, collaborate, and work through complex problems independently, utilizing structured problem-solving methodologies (processes, best practices, tools, templates). Must have well developed troubleshooting skills. Ability to analyse details, log/trace files, work with incomplete or ambiguous data to fix issues. Ability to work as part of a bigger team to ensure the proper integrations are made and the data is appropriately transformed and sent to the target systems Mandatory Power Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
