Job Description Job Title: Trainer & Content Development - South Region Location: Chennai or Bangalore (Base) | Travel: Across South Region (South1 & South2) Function: Human Resources - Learning & Organizational Development Grade: Deputy Manager/Manager Reports to: Regional L&OD Head - South Shape Role Summary: We are seeking a multi-skilled professional to manage learning data, develop impactful training content, and deliver capability-building programs across the South Region. This role blends analytical rigor, instructional design, and facilitation expertise to support the region's learning agenda. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, and passionate about enabling performance through data-driven learning solutions. Shape Key Responsibilities: 1. Training Facilitation & Delivery Deliver classroom and virtual training (VILT) programs across functional (banking, compliance) and behavioural topics. Support induction programs and ensure timely coverage of new joiners. Maintain high standards of learner engagement and delivery quality across formats. 2. Content Development & Instructional Design Design and develop training content including presentations, storyboards, job aids, infographics, and digital assets. Collaborate with SMEs to update learner guides, eLearning modules, and assessments. Translate business and learning needs into engaging, learner-centric content. Apply adult learning principles and instructional design frameworks to content creation. 3. Data Management & Learning Analytics Maintain and manage regional learning MIS, dashboards, and reports using Excel and PowerPoint. Track training coverage, completion rates, and effectiveness metrics across programs. Generate insights from learning data to support business reviews and HR connects. Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in data reporting and documentation. 4. Learning Operations & Coordination Coordinate regional and CO-driven programs including logistics, readiness, communication, and feedback. Ensure smooth execution of sessions with proper documentation and trainer logs. Liaise with HRBPs, business teams, and CO counterparts for nominations and scheduling. 5. Stakeholder Engagement Engage with business leaders, HR partners, and participants to ensure alignment and impact of learning initiatives. Support pre- and post-program communication and feedback collection. Shape Must-Have Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 5-6 years of banking experience in any vertical experience in team handling or training coordination preferred. Strong proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), PowerPoint (content creation), and MIS reporting. Experience in content development and basic instructional design. Excellent communication and facilitation skills. Comfortable with extensive travel across the South Region. Strong planning, coordination, and execution capabilities. Shape Good-to-Have / Future-Ready Skills: Working knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools. Familiarity with digital learning platforms (LXP, LMS) and authoring tools (Articulate, Canva, Vyond). Certification in instructional design, training, or behavioural assessments would be an advantage Ability to drive capability-building aligned with business strategy.
