We are looking for a detail-oriented and innovative Molecular Biologist to conduct research, experiments, and analysis at the molecular and cellular levels. The role involves studying genes, proteins, and biomolecular processes to support research, diagnostics, and product development. The ideal candidate will have strong laboratory skills, analytical expertise, and a passion for advancing biological sciences.
- Design and conduct molecular biology experiments involving DNA, RNA, and protein analysis.
- Perform cloning, PCR, sequencing, gene editing (e.g., CRISPR), and related techniques.
- Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, reagents, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with biosafety standards and laboratory protocols.
- Train and supervise junior researchers or lab technicians.
- Use bioinformatics tools to analyze genetic and molecular data.
- Prepare technical reports, research papers, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Document findings for scientific publications or patent applications.
- Work with cross-functional teams in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or academia.
- Contribute molecular insights to projects in diagnostics, drug development, agriculture, or environmental biology.
- Stay current with scientific advancements and emerging technologies in molecular biology.
- Follow ethical standards, regulatory guidelines, and good laboratory practices (GLP).
- Participate in audits, quality assurance checks, and research grant applications.
