Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SDET to join our Tech team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test design, test methodologies, and test automation, with a passion for ensuring the quality and reliability of AI-driven products. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, developers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities Test Design & Execution - Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for API, web based application, and chrome extension. - Apply strong knowledge of test methodologies (for example: boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning) to ensure robust test coverage. - Identify edge cases and potential failure points in system. Test Automation - Build and maintain scalable and reliable test automation frameworks using TypeScript (knowledge of other languages acceptable too). - Automate regression, API, and end-to-end tests. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (for example: GitHub Actions). Collaboration & Communication - Work closely with stakeholders, developers, and data scientists to understand requirements and ensure testability of features. - Communicate test results, risks, and quality metrics effectively to the team. Ownership & Problem-Solving - Take ownership of the quality of features and proactively identify areas for improvement. - Troubleshoot and debug issues across the stack, ensuring timely resolution. Must-Have Skills - Test Design & Methodologies: Strong expertise in designing test cases and applying test methodologies to ensure comprehensive coverage. - Test Automation: Proficiency in building and maintaining test automation frameworks. - Tech Stack: Experience with Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools for end-to-end and UI testing. - API Testing: Experience testing RESTful APIs and ensuring API contract compliance. - DB: Hands-on experience working with relational or NoSQL databases. - CI/CD Integration: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.G., GitHub Actions) for automated testing. - Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams. - Problem-Solving: Ability to think holistically about edge cases and potential failure scenarios. Good-to-Have Skills - Experience with TypeScript or similar scripting languages. - Experience working in a startup environment (not mandatory but preferred). Traits - Customer-Centric: Ability to quickly understand customer context and prioritize user experience. - Curiosity: Eagerness to learn and explore the evolving AI/ML space. - Patience & Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously test complex systems and identify subtle issues. - Ownership: High sense of responsibility and accountability for the quality of deliverables.
