Job descriptionSome careers shine brighter than others If youre looking for a career that will help you stand out join HSBC and fulfil your potential Whether you want a career that could take you to the top or simply take you in an exciting new direction HSBC offers opportunities support and rewards that will take you further HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world with operations in 64 countries and territories We aim to be where the growth is enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper and ultimately helping people to fulfil their hopes and realise their ambitions We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Delivery HeadIn this role you will As Delivery Head of Oracle Fusion IT the role holder will be responsible for the end-to-end service delivery of HSBCs Oracle Fusion program which operates as the banks primary Cost Ledger Ensure the Fusion BoW Fusion program goals and strategies are aligned with Fusion Service delivery work streams disciplines and are delivered within timeliness and budget Collaborate with the Transformation teams-Both Procurement and Finance to identify and meet stakeholder requirements Build Implement the relevant strategy methodology and adopt the necessary tools and practices for Fusion IT delivery Responsible for setting the vision and strategy devising policies and standard operating procedures for Fusion service delivery teams Responsible for ensuring the fusion value stream s processes are maturing focusing on continuous improvement and the development of methods to evaluate maintain and improve the quality of customer satisfaction Working with external service providers vendors to manage or evaluate their capability monitor their performance and ensure service level agreements are honoured where applicable Provide the requisite IT support to the Fusion programs design build test and implementations phases Responsible for budget cost headcount management and annual planning for Fusion IT and work along with Head of Fusion IT The role holder will lead the various delivery teams within Fusion IT comprising of Fusion Leads and SMEs He She may also have line management responsibility for those leads SMEs including people management performance management resource management and professional development RequirementsTo be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements Own manage the delivery projects and the various software components that supplement it Work with Head of Fusion IT to manage budgets and operations Introduce new practices processes techniques products services technologies and standards where needed against identified use cases via the appropriate governance bodies Act as a trusted advisor to the Head of Oracle Fusion in creating a trust-based management culture with a high level of effective communication globally The role holder must work with the Enterprise Technology IT communities of practice to maximize automation increase efficiency and ensure that best practice and the latest tools techniques and processes have been adopted Navigate HSBCs unique complexity and its need for consensus-driven decision making Lead through influence to ensure the various business and IT stakeholders are delivering in-line with agreed strategy Assist the Head of Oracle Fusion and wider leadership teams in building and maintaining strong business relationships in difficult times Ensure appropriate level of delivery and engineering governance is maintained The role holder is a technology leader developing and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse range of business and technical teams in FinEX and beyond To be effective the role holder displays subject matter expertise technical awareness and excellent IT and business stakeholder management Specifically Successful track record of managing projects Oracle Fusion experience preferrable Experience of making complex design decisions with authority even in times of ambiguity balancing advancing strategy immediate business needs and potential long-term risks and implications Experience of Agile Experience in managing cross-culture and global teams Built effective networks internally and created opportunities for others to work collaboratively Excellent written and spoken communication skills an ability to communicate with impact ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences including senior executives business architecture and IT delivery HSBC
