Sr Internal Auditor

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Auditor with 3-5 years of experience in audit, risk assessment, and controls evaluation. This role will play a critical part in supporting the company’s SOX compliance program, including helping to automate ongoing SOX audits and streamline control testing processes. Responsibilities: - Lead and support SOX control testing with a primary focus on SOX ITGCs, ITACs (IT General and Automated/Application Controls) and IPE validation. - Assist in automating and optimizing ongoing SOX audit processes, including control testing and documentation workflows. - Perform risk assessments with focus on ITGCs, ITACs and identify control gaps in infrastructure, cloud environments, and enterprise applications. - Develop and maintain audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and control objectives. - Collaborate with IT, Business (Finance, HR, Operations, etc.) teams to gather evidence, conduct interviews, and validate remediation efforts. - Prepare clear and concise audit reports with actionable recommendations. - Monitor and report on the status of remediation efforts related to audit findings. - Support external audit and act as a liaison with Rambus IT & BI teams. - Participate in all other compliance activities and SOX testing performed by the IA team, as needed. - Provide advisory support during system implementations and upgrades to ensure compliance with internal controls Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field. - Minimum 3 years of experience in IT auditing with Big 4 auditors/ large regional audit firms working with large US clients or working with such firms as part of Internal Audit team for a US-based public company. - Strong understanding of SOX compliance, ITGCs and cloud technologies. - Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills. - Experience with large ERP systems and data analytics platforms. - Familiarity with AuditBoard or similar audit management platforms is a plus. - Familiarity with enterprise applications such as Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics is highly desirable. - Professional certifications preferred (e.g., CISA). Other Preferred Attributes: - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Willingness to work evening and night hours to accommodate the schedule of the California and India based teams. (Minimum 2-3 hours of overlap in working hours is expected each day, irrespective of where the position is filled).
