to deliver a sustainable future for the world through science and collaboration If youre looking for a challenge and meaningful role youre in the right place About you and this roleDow Chemical International Private Limited Purchasing Organization is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for a Sourcing Specialist This role will be based in Navi Mumbai The Sourcing Specialist will oversee strategic sourcing activities for the Raw Materials Category for II I and P SP Businesses Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of contracts with a primary focus on executing strategic sourcing strategies for the Raw Materials Category for II I and PU Businesses Develop knowledge of the supply market and suppliers Conduct Strategic Sourcing activities including market analysis and the development of short and long-term strategies Work with functional and business partners to understand business requirements align sourcing strategy and execute implementation plans and be a key player for new project implementations Act as the India and Middle East markets focal point for the business stakeholders Negotiate pricing payment and delivery terms on spot orders as well as period contracts and execute the agreements Manage Supplier Relationships including the commercial relationship Monitor supplier performance against key performance indicators Understand and practice appropriate work process governance and compliance Qualifications Bachelor s Degree 5 years of experience in strategic procurement or a related role Preferred Skills Strong written and oral communications skills Demonstrated analytical skills ability to work with large amounts of data demonstrated skills in negotiation or influencing the decision-making process demonstrated skills in project management Problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities proficiency in professional English communication Benefits -
