Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized School Clerk to join our administrative team. The School Clerk will be responsible for providing clerical and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the school office. This role involves handling student records, managing correspondence, assisting teachers and staff with documentation, and maintaining a welcoming environment for parents, students, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain accurate student records, files, and databases.

* Assist in the preparation of reports, notices, circulars, and correspondence.

* Handle telephone calls, emails, and front-desk inquiries in a professional manner.

* Support teachers and staff with documentation, photocopying, and filing.

* Coordinate with parents regarding student attendance, schedules, and communication.

* Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier services.

* Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.

* Assist in organizing school events, examinations, and meetings.

* Ensure confidentiality and security of school and student information.

* Perform any other administrative tasks assigned by the Principal or School Administrator.

Qualifications & Skills

* Minimum qualification: High School Diploma / Graduate preferred.

* Prior experience in a school office or clerical/administrative role is an advantage.

* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer applications.

* Proficiency in Tally

* Accounting Knowledge - Cash book, Ledger, Balance Sheet, Trial balance, bank reconciliation and TDS,

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

* Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

* Professional, polite, and approachable demeanor.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays 9 AM – 4 PM
