About The Job: About The Job: - You will work directly with Technical Leaders, Principal Engineers and Product Managers leading platform specific microservices development for solutions across all Webex products. - You will work with a 20+ members engineering team to plan, lead and execute technical challenges relating to microservices development. - You will lead development teams to collaboratively design solutions. Essential Job Functions: Essential Job Functions: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java, Spring, REST, and gRPC for Webex features. - Build and manage real-time distributed data pipelines using Kafka. - Ensure high code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and performance profiling. - Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and create system dashboards using tools like Grafana and Kibana. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones, and participate in Agile ceremonies. - Identify and fix bugs, optimize performance, and support architecture decisions and technical initiatives. - Support on-call rotations (PagerDuty) Qualifications: Qualifications: - 8+ years of software development experience, with strong skills in Java, Spring, RESTful APIs, and gRPC. - Proficient in Agile methodologies, unit testing, debugging, and code coverage. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices. - Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Maven, Git, and distributed caching. - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and architectural best practices. - Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), including monitoring, incident management, and performance/load testing. - Skilled in performance optimization for speed, memory, and space. - Exposure to AI integration and code generation tools. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills across global teams. - Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies.
