The Role: Assistant Account Officer (On-site, Ludhiana) This is a dedicated, detail-oriented, and on-site role in Ludhiana, providing essential support to our accounting team. The Assistant Account Officer will be a key player in day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial records. Key Responsibilities: - Executing daily data entries, including detailed invoice processing - Performing routine bank reconciliations - Assisting in preparing monthly financial reports and supporting senior accountants with finance-related tasks - Supporting the team with compliance tasks, including GST and TDS documentation - Managing cheque preparation and related documentation - Maintaining accurate stock records by recording necessary entries in Excel sheets for Finished Goods and packing materials - Coordinating effectively with internal teams to ensure the efficiency of accounting operations Qualifications and Requirements Experience and Education: - Candidates with 3+ years of relevant experience in daily accounting operations - Minimum qualification of 10+2 in Commerce grade is required - Relevant coursework or a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred Skills and Proficiencies: - Proficiency in relevant accounting software, particularly Tally ERP systems, and MS Office (especially Excel) - Strong foundation and proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements - Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records - Strong Analytical Skills and fundamental knowledge in accounting - Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to manage internal and external interactions effectively - Strong documentation and organizational skills with a disciplined work style - Quick learning ability, a commitment to meeting deadlines, and working independently
