Role: Sr. Compliance Manager - Insurance
Location: Thane, Mumbai

Job Description
Negotiate contract terms with internal and external stakeholders.
Create and review business and operational agreements for empaneling insurers, and draft replies to regulatory notices.
Respond to communications from IRDAI and other regulatory bodies, attend Ombudsman hearings, and coordinate regulatory responses.
Analyze complex laws and regulations affecting company operations and develop legal strategies to mitigate risks.
Ensure adherence to IRDAI regulations, handle internal audits and inspections, and manage compliance issues including licensing and renewals.
Oversee training and licensing of Broker Qualified Persons/Principal Officers/POSPs.
Assess and enhance risk management policies, including data security and IT infrastructure compliance.
Track and implement new regulations, ensure regulatory filings, and maintain effective internal controls.
Advise business teams on compliance matters, review client onboarding and sales practices, and evaluate data security measures.
Develop and manage systems to ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
