Lead Deltav Engineer

PM Group is a leading International engineering architecture project and construction management firm With a network of offices in Europe Asia and the US and a multi-disciplined team of over 3 500 people we deliver complex capital projects in the life sciences food and beverages mission critical ICT advanced manufacturing energy and environmental sectors Due to our on-going success securing large-scale projects for 2024 we have a requirement for a Lead DeltaV Engineer This position offers opportunity to work on a range of projects from conceptual stage through to detailed design commissioning and qualification The Lead DeltaV Engineer will manage a team s of DeltaV engineers overseeing control strategy development and system integration delivery for both continuous and batch manufacturing processes They will liaise with internal engineering teams site teams vendors and clients manage system design testing and commissioning Self-motivation good technical knowledge of process control in Life Sciences excellent communication skills and the ability to handle diverse tasks independently are key traits for this role Lead a DeltaV team in the delivery of system integration projects working closely with other engineering disciplines and project management from concept through to construction Lead the development of control strategies logic and programming for complex batch control applications Lead and participate in DeltaV design reviews both code and hardware Collaborate with clients and project teams to ensure successful integration of DeltaV systems with existing plant infrastructure Provide technical expertise and guidance to other DeltaV engineers and project stakeholders Interact with clients third party vendors and site teams to deliver process automation solutions Conduct system testing troubleshooting and site commissioning activities to ensure system functionality and performance Develop and maintain documentation including functional specifications design documents and user manuals Ability to manage a varied workload and work on own initiative self-motivated Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or related field Minimum 10 years of experience working with DeltaV DCS systems Proficiency in DeltaV configuration software DeltaV Explorer Control Studio etc Proficiency in DeltaV hardware design and testing Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in Life Sciences industries e g GAMP ISA-S88 ISA-95 ISA-62443 Strong understanding of process control principles and industrial automation systems Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment and report to project and operations management Experience with PLC and SCADA platforms e g Rockwell and Siemens Experience with Historians and MES e g Aveva PI Syncade PAS-X Knowledge or familiarity with Smart Plant Instrumentation Knowledge or familiarity with manufacturing network design Knowledge or familiarity with Kneat as a digital validation solution Why PM GroupAs an employee-owned company we are inclusive committed and driven Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability are the heart of our new 2025 business strategy Inclusion and Diversity are core to our culture and values Wherever we work we commit to a culture of mutual respect and belonging by building a truly inclusive workplace rich in diverse people talents and ideas Valuing the contributions of all our people and respecting individual differences will sustain our growth into the future LI-GN1
