Company Description PetroBot Technologies is a robotic technology start-up located in Jaipur Our flagship product is the PetroBot ITIS Rover which is a remotely-operated robotic crawler that carries out on-stream inspection of hydrocarbon storage tanks We also offer the MagRover a remotely-operated wall-climbing robot for external inspection of industrial equipment Our team of experts is dedicated to providing cutting-edge solutions that make inspection cost-effective affordable and efficient We are seeking a creative and motivated Mechanical Engineer to contribute across various stages of product development from research and design to manufacturing and installation You will play a key role in designing and fabricating high-quality mechanical components that embody innovation and excellence Hands- on experience with real-projects in various industries Conduct site visits including to heavy industrial plants refineries and other relevant locations Key Responsibilities Design manufacture and install mechanical components to meet projectrequirements Analyze deficiencies and technical problems and develop effective solutions Conduct experiments evaluations and simulations to improve product designs Create detailed designs and schematics using CAD software Estimate project budgets timelines and resource requirements Modify designs as needed to ensure functionality and prevent malfunctions Collaborate with operators to gather insights for design improvements Prepare detailed reports and technical documentation for products Continuously engage in professional development learning new techniques and methodologies Qualifications Key Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD for design and schematics creation Experience in mechanical inspections and quality control processes Strong problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges effectively Ability to work across various stages of mechanical product development Excellent communication skills for preparing reports and collaborating with team members Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to support project requirements Education B tech in Mechanical Freshers with strong technical skills are also encouraged to apply Additional Information This role will require travel to industrial plants refineries and other relevant sites both within India and internationally to meet project needs and support on-site requirements We look forward to having you as part of our team where you ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in both mechanical engineering and mechanical design contributing to innovative and high-quality projects If you meet the qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity
