Company Description Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited is a 100 owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH one of the world s leading global supplier of technology and services offering end-to-end Engineering IT and Business Solutions With over 28 200 associates it s the largest software development center of Bosch outside Germany indicating that it is the Technology Powerhouse of Bosch in India with a global footprint and presence in the US Europe and the Asia Pacific region We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Embedded Specialist to join our embedded software development team in Coimbatore This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the architecture and design of complex embedded systems working on challenging projects that impact various industries Roles Responsibilities Development and Implementation Develop high-quality reusable and maintainable code Implement and integrate software modules Follow coding standards and best practices Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to other developers Technical Leadership Guide and mentor junior software engineers Provide technical expertise and support to the team Contribute to technical discussions and decision-making Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies Collaboration and Communication Collaborate effectively with other engineering teams hardware testing etc Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely Participate in project planning and status meetings Qualifications Educational qualification Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Electronics Engineering or a related field Experience 6 years of experience in embedded software development for Automotive Consumer Electronics or MedTech Mandatory requires Skills Strong understanding of embedded systems architectures and design principles Expertise in C C programming for embedded systems Experience with real-time operating systems RTOS Familiarity with communication protocols e g CAN SPI I2C Experience with software design patterns and architectural principles Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Skills Experience with automotive software development processes e g ASPICE Familiarity with functional safety standards e g IEC 61508 Experience with model-based design and development Knowledge of specific microcontroller architectures
