Essential Functions Configure test implement and support Oracle eBusiness Suite applications and other business applications Gathers and documents detailed requirements for business needs and independently determines moderately complex solutions designs Demonstrates advanced understanding and execution of the software development lifecycle Demonstrates mastery of troubleshooting and research tools i e myOracleSupport e-TRM Implementation Guides etc to complete complex troubleshooting Identifies interdependencies in programs and comprehensive test scenarios Offers suggestions to improve processes and design options for executing those improvements Evaluates new technologies for improving existing functions and new business needs Understands business impacts of issues as they relate to IT owned solutions Provides reliable solutions to a wide range of business needs and challenges Assists with data migration and related data quality activities Demonstrates experience with project work and change management in demanding and dynamic environments with tight deadlines Effectively prioritizes workload to meet deadlines and work objectives Supports application maintenance activities including patching and versioning updates Participates in incident management and corrective actions Actively encourage collaboration and professionalism in a team environment with other Garmin associates to achieve goals Collaborate directly with co-located and remote team members and business clients Responsible for planning small medium sized projects or tasks Makes substantial contributions to determining feasibility of goals objectives Demonstrates proficient use and knowledge of established standards and procedures Consistently demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work documentation and organization Serve as a mentor to less experienced Application Analysts Application Analyst 1 2 Consistently looks at the opportunity in all change Demonstrates responsibility for ongoing personal development professional growth and continuous learning Exemplifies Garmins Mission Statement and Quality Policy and proactively works to improve Garmins image and cultureOther Responsibilities Participate in project definition activities including feature analysis and system tradeoffs Demonstrates facilitation and leadership expertise Demonstrates ability to work independently with a high degree of competency Gives and receives feedback in a constructive manner Resolves conflicts with little assistance Provides knowledge shares to teammates Reports on project status to various stakeholders Education Experience and Skills Required Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science Information Technology Management Information Systems Business or another relevant field AND a minimum of 5 years relevant experience Responsible for implementing and supporting projects for business areas including inventory management procurement quality control and manufacturing processes by using Oracle E- Business Suite EBS and proprietary applications Proficiency in at least two Oracle EBS modules Inventory Procurement Work in Process Bills of Materials Item Master and or Quality Assurance Experience working with purchasing manufacturing or inventory management teams in developing system solutions to improve business processes Demonstrates mastery of project management principles and adapts practices to meet rapidly changing business climates and needs Demonstrates strong and effective verbal written and interpersonal communication skills in a cross-functional setting with business partners Demonstrated experience in successful implementation of technology solutions Strong functional problem-solving skills Experience with PL SQL for troubleshooting querying analyzing the data and working with developers on testing customizations workflows integrations API Web Services etc Experience collaborating with application development teams who develop and support integrations to from ERP systems e g Oracle EBS R12 2 X and external applications using modern development technologies
