We’re passionate about our people, our customers, our values, and our culture Location: - This is role in the Logistics Department for a greenfield project being setup in Hinjewadi. - This is a work from office role and will be working 6 days a week from the factory location in Hinjewadi, Phase 1. Position Summary: - Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practices in logistics. - Plan, manage, and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies, Customs and customers. - Prepare and review documentation including commercial invoices, Packing List, Bills of lading, COO etc. - Follow up with CHA on all import documentation, including Bills of Entry. - Monitor and report on Import & export costs, duties, taxes and freight charges. - Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, such as customs laws and trade agreements. - Ensure carrier performance and compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery. - Keep record of all Export-Import shipments along with documents. - Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities. - Identify savings by removing waste or unnecessary steps in the logistics process. - Working with freight forwarders and seeking container bookings on time. - Closing BOEs with Bank - Creating MIS reports for Import and Export - Knowledge of various Export Schemes and import benefit schemes. - Knowledge of various Import Schemes - Advance License, Brand Rate - Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements. - Coordinating with local logistics service providers for vehicles to achieve on-time delivery. Key Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. - 3 to 7 years of experience in logistics management, with a focus on import/export, trucking, and ocean freight. - Experience in a manufacturing company importing raw materials and exporting finished goods. - Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and compliance documentation. - Excellent negotiation and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
