Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Web Developer to join our team. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining websites that are responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance. You will work closely with the design and marketing teams to ensure that our client's websites are aligned with their brand and business goals while offering seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Web Development:

- Develop and maintain websites from the ground up, ensuring responsive design, fast loading times, and cross-platform compatibility.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code using languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and others as needed.
- Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and plugins to enhance website functionality.
- Implement content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Shopify, or custom CMS solutions.

Collaboration with Designers & Marketing Teams:

- Work closely with the design team to translate wireframes and visual designs into fully functional websites.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize website designs for SEO, conversions, and user engagement.
- Ensure websites are optimized for maximum speed and scalability.

Website Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

- Perform regular website maintenance, ensuring timely updates and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Debug and resolve issues related to website functionality, performance, and compatibility.
- Manage and ensure website backups, security updates, and scalability.

Performance Optimization:

- Focus on website performance optimization, ensuring that websites load quickly and are optimized for search engines.
- Implement best practices for website performance, such as minimizing HTTP requests, image optimization, and script handling.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

- Conduct thorough testing of websites across different browsers and devices to ensure consistent functionality and aesthetics.
- Test website performance, security, and responsiveness, troubleshooting and optimizing as necessary.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure all websites meet industry standards and client expectations.

Client-Focused Solutions:

- Translate client requirements and ideas into effective web solutions, offering suggestions and improvements.
- Provide clients with regular updates on progress, timelines, and potential roadblocks.
- Assist in troubleshooting client issues and providing solutions in a timely manner.

Stay Updated on Industry Trends:

- Keep up to date with the latest web development technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Research and implement new tools and technologies that improve website performance and user experience.

Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field.

Skills & Experience:

- Proven experience (3+ years) in web development with a strong portfolio of websites.
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
- Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or custom solutions.
- Familiarity with server-side languages such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby is a plus.
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques (e.g., caching, image optimization).
- Experience with responsive web design and mobile-first development.
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and SEO best practices.

Technical Skills:

- Advanced knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Experience with back-end technologies (PHP, Node.js, or similar).
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of databases like MySQL, MongoDB, or other relevant systems.
- Knowledge of API integration and experience working with RESTful APIs.

Soft Skills:

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Creative mindset with a passion for web technologies and design.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce, Magento, or Shopify.
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and experience in front-end design.
- Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing principles to ensure websites are optimized for organic traffic.
