Job Responsibilities: - Provide one-on-one career Counseling sessions to students assisting them in identifying career goals, exploring career options, and developing effective job search strategies. - Conduct assessments and interpret results to help students gain self-awareness and identify their strengths, interests and skills. - Assist students in developing professional resumes, cover letters, and other application materials that effectively showcase their qualifications and experiences. - Offer guidance on interview techniques, including mock interviews and feedback sessions, to enhance student's confidence and performance during job interviews. - Organize career development workshops, seminars, and networking events to enhance students understanding of industry trends, professional etiquette and job market requirements. - Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate career development initiatives into the academic Curriculum, providing students with opportunities. - Stay updated on current job market trends, industry requirements and career resources to provide accurate and relevant information to students. - Develop and maintain a database of placement opportunities, internships and job postings. - Utilize career services software and systems to track student progress, maintain records and generate reports on placement outcomes. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or master's Degree in counselling, psychology, human resources, or a related field. Experience and Skills: - Certificate National Certified Counsellor (NCC), Certified Career Counsellor (CCC), Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF)is preferable. - Previous experience in career counselling, advising, or related roles is preferred. - Knowledge of career development theories, assessment tools, and job search strategies. - Familiarity with resume writing, interview techniques, and career development resources. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, faculty, staff, and employers. - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities. - Proficiency in using career services software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite. - Min 3-8 Year experiences candidates are preferable.
