Studio: Studio Nazara Type: Full-time (Office-based or Hybrid) Location: [Your City] About the Role Studio Nazara is looking for a highly imaginative Illustrator / Concept Artist who can bring stories, rhymes, and learning songs to life through beautiful, hand-painted-style visuals. You’ll be designing characters, worlds, and backgrounds that feel warm, fun, and magical — crafted especially for children. Your art will define the visual soul of our 2D animated content — from nursery rhymes to story-based videos. Responsibilities - Create original character designs, backgrounds, and props in a painterly / storybook style. - Develop unique visual identities for rhymes, stories, and educational videos. - Collaborate with animators to ensure illustrations are animation-friendly (rig-ready). - Design expressive facial sheets and poses for characters. - Maintain visual consistency and high quality across episodes. - Experiment with new art directions, textures, and playful compositions. Requirements - Strong portfolio showing children-focused or storybook-style illustrations. - Excellent understanding of form, color, and composition. - Ability to visualize imaginative worlds and characters that connect with kids. - Skilled in Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / Fresco / Procreate (or similar tools). - Familiarity with vector art + painted texture workflows is a big plus. - Bonus: Basic understanding of how illustrations translate into 2D cut-out animation (Moho / Toon Boom).
